TIGERS CAN END IT TONIGHT

Here's what went down Monday night:
The Texas Rangers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 4-3.
The Rangers took a 2-1 lead in the series.

The HBWHOF went to The Copa to witness another Big Potato rollercoaster ride!
This was a great game to watch.
Justin Verlander pitched 8 innings, allowed 6 hits, 4 runs, 3 walks and notched
11 Ks!
Verlander was clocking 100 mph on the radar gun in the 8th inning!!
My wife's favourite defensive specialist, Ramon Santiago, went 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs.
CC Sabathia was all done by the 6th inning. Rafael Soriano took over and Delmon Young hit the game-winning dinger in the 7th for a 5-4 lead.
The next batter was Miguel Cabrera who, narrowly, missed going yard when he belted one directly at the 420-mark in centerfield!
Jose Valverde took the mound in the 9th and allowed 2 walks and a warning-track flyout before he struck-out Derek Jeter to give the Tigers a 5-4 win.

The HBWHOF started the night at Nemo's...

...scarfin' down a couple of burgers & beer...

It was a beautiful autumn night with the sunset reflecting off the buildings on Michigan Avenue...

Leyland was hangin' with Reggie...

Everybody was pumped for Verlander vs Sabathia...

My seats were just behind 1st base...

I had an EWOK sitting directly in front of me...

Delmon goes YARD with the winning run...

These are the playoff towels they gave to the fans...

There was a lot of towel-waving going on while Verlander & Valverde pitched...

The HBWHOF will be at The Copa tonight for Game 4: A.J. Burnett vs Rick Porcello at 8:37 PM.

Lana Grazouskaya's record is 2-0 while rockin' the old english 'D'...so the HBWHOF is sticking with my ACE...
