THE BABY-FACED ASSASSIN COMES THROUGH...HOCKEY IS ALIVE & WELL IN THE GREAT WHITE NORTH

On Saturday night the Tigers and White Sox were tied 2-2 in the 9th inning.
With Austin Jackson on 3rd base and 2 out, Miguel Cabrera went YARD and got Justin Verlander the win with a 4-2 victory.

The new NHL franchise in Winnipeg sold out their season tickets in TWO MINUTES!!
Officially they're saying 17 minutes - but the online queue was full in two minutes. The remaining 15 minutes were required to process the sales.
True North Sports and Entertainment, the new owners, were also forced to cap their membership-only-based waiting list for season tickets at 8,000 spots.
GO JETS!

...And the ice was still wet when Vancouver took a two-game lead 11 seconds into overtime.
GO CANUCKS!
